Executive Master's in Marketing and Strategic Communications
Online with On-Site Residencies
Accomplished and high caliber marketing and communications professionals with at least eight years of experience and responsibilities at the director or VP-level and above will benefit most from this degree program.
Those who seek deeper knowledge and the leadership skills to: advance to the C-Suite, transition to working for larger brands or agencies, switch from one industry specialty to another, or move from the agency to the client side, will find the course content invaluable in helping to reach professional goals and objectives.
Designed by senior-level professionals for marketing and public relations executives, this 5-semester program features 1 week in-person at the start, plus 4 days in-person at the end. The rest is online, affording you the flexibility to complete your degree while working full time.

This degree provides you with the skills and the hands-on experience needed to develop the public relations and communication strategies that elevate brands, build reputations, and manage crises. Unlike conventional master’s in public relations, this degree stands at the crossroads of marketing and public relations, honing your skills across a variety of digital platforms. This degree offers flexible part-time and full-time study options and can be completed in as little as 18 months.
Our graduates enter the field with positions like Account Executive, PR Coordinator, Media Relations Manager, Social Media Manager, Manager Corporate Communications, etc., and our alumni hold positions like Senior Vice President in the agency world and Global Head of Communications within a brand.

Meet Instructor Gabrielle Gambrell
Gabrielle Gambrell, an adjunct instructor in the NYU SPS DPB Integrated Marketing and Communications program, is a communication, branding, and media expert who has worked with many of today's leading sports, media, entertainment, consumer, technology, and lifestyle brands. Among her many accolades, Gambrell was named to PRNEWS' 2020 list of Top Women in PR and PRWeek’s 2019 Hall of Femme as a Woman to Watch. At NYU SPS, she teaches graduate-level courses in integrated marketing, digital and social media, media relations, and corporate communications.
